About the post

A Message from the Commander

Picture
We need additional help to keep Post 39 vibrant and moving forward.  We are losing World War II Veterans every day and the Korean War Veterans are getting along in age as well.  Even some of the Vietnam War Veterans are suffering from physical problems.  We especially need veterans to join us from the First Persian Gulf War and also from the War in Iraq and the War in Afghanistan. It's getting tough for the older veterans to march and carry flags and rifles on Memorial Day and for Funeral Services for Departed Veterans. We need your help!!
THE AMERICAN LEGION IS A GREAT ORGANIZATION
Veterans need to stick together and protect our rights and the benefits available for all military and former military personnel.
Please check out our entire website and if you would like more information on what our Legion Post does, please click here to contact us or click on the "Contact Us" tab above.
Thank you,
Charles Trowbridge, Commander, Post 39
